- Bonnie Osoro 1920 ~ 2007 Blanche (Bonnie) Osoro, 86, passed away in Sandy, UT on Jan 28, 2007. She was Bonnie, grandma, GiGi, and even Blanche to those that loved her. Only those who loved her got away with calling her Blanche. Bonnie was born oon March 2, 1920 in Clear Creek, Utah to Hazel Mason Kenner and Nathaniel Bailey Kenner. She married Manuel (Spic) Osoro on April 23, 1939. They had four children, all as different as the day is long, but loved equally by their mom: Larry (Peggygy) Osoro of South Jordan; Joe (Ruth Ann Williamsen) Osoro of Denver; Judy (Doug) Smith of Denver; Terry (Cal) Huntsman of Taylorsville. Together they had nine grandchildren and 13 great-grand-children. Bonnie is preceded in death by her parentss; husband; brother, Boyd Kenner; sisters, Freda Kenner, Christine Compton, Mildred Morris; grandson, Rusty Rasmusen. She was famous within her family and community for her breads and desserts, including wedding cakes. Bonnie had a great sense of humor; even in her last days she still had a few one-liners that kept everyone laughing. A graveside service will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Thursday, February 1, 2007 at Larkin Sunset Gardens, 10600 S. 1950 E. A viewing will be held from 6-8 p.m. on Wed., Jan. 31, 2007 at Goff Mortuary, 8090 S. State Street, and from 11:30-12:30 p.m. at Goff Mortuary on Thurs. prior to the graveside service. The family would like to thank the staff at Crosslands Rehabilitation and Inspiration Hospice for their loving care of our mother. We would also like to thank her neighbors and relatives in Copperton for helping her for so many years. In accordance with the family's wishes, in lieu of flowers, please send a donation to the Alzheimer Association, 845 E. 4800 S., Murray, Utah 84107.
