    • Amatha C. Mendive-Boyle of Gresham passed away tragically in Portland on Friday, Nov. 14, 2008 at age 37.
      Amatha, oldest of her two siblings, was born to Debra and Timothy Mendive in Ontario, at Holy Rosary Hospital on Nov. 5, 1971. Amatha was raised in the Gresham area and continued to live there for the duration of her life. Amatha married the love of her life, Brandon M. Boyle, on July 7, 2007.
      Some of her passions included cooking, cake decorating, and dancing - all of which she excelled at throughout her life. She held various occupations, impacting many people whom continue to honor her spirit. Amatha will be remembered as a hard working and fun loving person by her family and friends.
      Amatha was survived by her loving husband, Brandon M. Boyle; children, Kamylli Mendive, 15, Timothy Mendive, 13, and Chance Boyle, 2; mother, Debra Mendive; brother, Gerald Mendive; sister, Cynthia Mendive; grandfather, Gerald Gasser; and father- and mother-in-law, Normand and Devonna Boyle.
      Services in memory of Amatha were held at Wood Village Baptist Church on Nov. 18, 2008.
      Amatha will continue to live on in our memories and hearts.
