Fr. Dos Santos Recalde of Parma. Interment will be at Canyon Hill. Rosary will be recited at Dakan Chapel in Caldwell at 8 p.m. today. Mr. Ocamica was born Feb. 19, 1892, in Espaster, Spain. He came to the United States in 1910 and to Idaho to work on sheep ranches. He was married Aug. 7, 1916, in Boise to Florencia Arrizabalaga, and the couple moved to a farm in the Big Bend community of Malheur County, southwest of Parma, in 1920. He since had farmed there. He was a member of St. Bridget's Catholic Church of Nyssa. Surviving in addition to Mrs. Ocamica are a son, Tony Ocamica of Parma; two daughters, Mrs. Virginia Corn and Miss Regina Ocamica, both of Parma; a brother, Antonio Ocamica of Boise; two sisters residing in Spain and four grandchildren. He was preceded in death by two sons, Richard in 1949, and Carmelo in 1929. | 696 | Benedicta "Bene" Aldecoa Wilson 1919 ~ 2016 Benedicta "Bene" Aldecoa Wilson passed away at her home, Friday, January 22, 2016, at the age of 96. Bene was born May 17, 1919, in Boise, to John Domingo and Maria Pagoaga Aldecoa, who immigrated from the Basque Country. She was the fourth of their five children. She had a wonderful childhood with her siblings and cousins in Boise, and summers visiting her father's mountain sheep camps. Bene attended St. Teresa's Academy and there her lifelong love of music began. She was an accomplished pianist and harpist. She studied music at both St. Mary's of the Wasatch in Salt Lake City, and at the University of Washington in Seattle, where she graduated in May 1941. After graduation she woorked for the Red Cross, and later the Army Corps of Engineers in Boise. During World War II, Bene and her sister, Delphine "Del", were FAA air traffic controllers in Great Falls, Montana. After the war, Bene returned to Boise and was a secretarary for Idaho Power. Bene met her husband, Dr. Richard "Dick" Wilson, on a double date with her sister, Del. Bene and Dick were married December 17, 1950 and had two children, Jeanne and John. After her husband passed away in 1966, Bene worked as a secretary for Idaho's Secretary of State, Pete Cenarrusa. After retiring, Bene enjoyed traveling the world, playing golf and bridge, and especially liked spending time with her family and grandchildren at her lakeside cabin in McCall. She was a volunteer for St. Alphonsus Auxiliary and the Morrison Center. She was a member of the Catholic Women's League, the Boise Junior League, and Hillcrest Country Club. She also played the harp for the Boise Philharmonic during their early years. She was preceded in death by her husband, parents, sister, Maurina Bowles (Andrew), brothers, Basil (Dorothy) and Manuel Aldecoa. She is survived by her sister, Delphine Aldecoa; daughter, Jeanne Wilson; son, John Wilson (Dolores); grandchildren, John Pidgeon, Marisa Berndt (Michael), and Richard and Tony Wilson; and great granddaughter, Amaya Berndt. A Rosary in Bene's honor will be held at 7:00 pm, Friday, January 29, 2016 at Summers Funeral Home, Boise Chapel, 1205 W Bannock St, Boise. Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 1:00 pm, Saturday, January 30, 2016 at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, 811 S Latah St, Boise. A reception will follow at Hillcrest Country Club, from 2 till 5 pm. Our family's special thanks go to her caregivers, James Maloy, and especially to Sharon Beets, who took care of Bene until she passed. Also, thanks to Bene's doctor, Mary Barinaga, for her care and compassion, and St. Alphonsus Hospital and Hospice. | 698 | Beth Devine Arruti , 87, passed quietly at Humboldt General Hospital, in Winnemucca, Nev., on December 14, 2013. Beth was born October 7, 1926, in Salt Lake City, Utah, to Duane and Mabel Devine. She Attended Steven-Henager College in Salt Lake City. Beth married Joseph Arruti and was a long time resident of Winnemucca, Nev. Beth worked at 1st National Bank then at the BLM where she retired in 1988. She was a member of the LDS church and enjoyed golfing, boating and fishing. Beth was preceded in death by her husband Joseph Arruti, her parents Duane and Mable Devine and her brother Jack Devine. Beth is survived by her sons Michael of Albuquerque, New Mexico, and Mark (Dee Dee) of Roseville, California, and daughter Vicki Cisna (Jim) of Winnemucca, Nevada, and her sister Donna Fairchild of Spring Creek, Nevada. | 699 | Billie Berria-Wilson June 6, 1930 - March 3, 2017 ONTARIO — Billie Berria-Wilson, 86, passed away surrounded by family Friday, March 3, 2017. Funeral services will be at 11 a.m., Thursday, March 9th, at the Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church in Ontario. Billie was born June 6, 1930 in Gooding, Idaho. She attended school in Gooding where she met Joe Berria. They married in 1947 and eventually found their way to Ontario where they started raising a family that eventually grew to include six terrific children (who had editorial control of this obituary). She is survived by her children: Terry Stewart, Linda Feeley, Pam Benintendi, Frank Berria, Mark Berria and Matt Berria. While raising six kids, she still found time to give back to the community through various organizations including PEO Chapter AF, Catholic Church Altar Society, Ontario PTA, Hospital Auxiliary and Ontario Chamber of Commerce. Always ready to take on a challenge, she started a new career by purchasing and running Fashion Crossroads until her retirement. She married Dick Wilson and lived in Boise until his death. She is survived by her stepson Rick Wilson. After retiring she found more time to continue sharing her skills in a number of ways. She hand made over 3,100 baby quilts that she donated to worthwhile causes like Oregon Child Services, Project Dove, Snake River Pediatrics, local hospitals and clinics. The satisfaction she received from seeing children receive her quilts was what kept driving her until just days before her death. That same independence and determination caused her to do the unexpected from time to time, like getting her first and only tattoo at the age of 82. Of course, the tattoo was of a heart and the words “From My Heart To Yours”, which not surprisingly, is the way she signed each quilt given. Billie will be missed by family, friends, her grandchildren, the children who received her gifts and the community in general. In lieu of flowers the family requests that donations be made to the Treasure Valley Children’s Relief Nursery. The family would like to express their heart felt gratitude to the devoted and caring staff at the Presbyterian Community Care Center, St. Alphonsus Hospital and all of her friends that kept Billie in her thoughts and prayers.
