    Jean married Augustine Marcelle Oyharcabal on 25 Mar 1929 in Elko, Nevada. Augustine (daughter of Dominique Oyharcabal and Marguerite Gastellu) was born on 6 Mar 1910 in Irisarry, Benafarroa; died on 10 Mar 2003 in Reno, Nevada. [Group Sheet] [Family Chart]

    Augustine Marcelle Ernaut, 93, of Reno, passed away March 10, 2003, at Washoe Medical Center.

    Augustine, affectionately known as Marcelle, was born to Dominique and Marguerite (Gastellu) Oyharcabal on March 6, 1910, in Irissary, France, and immigrated to the United States in 1927, settling in Eureka, Nev. In 1928, she and her family moved to Elko where she resided until 1970, when she moved to Reno. While living in Elko she worked for the Lundberg's Gift Shop for nearly 20 years. She was a member of Our Lady of the Snows Catholic Church and enjoyed crocheting and knitting.

    Marcelle was preceded in death by her husband, Pete Ernaut, on Jan. 27, 1986; two brothers and two sisters.

    Survivors include her son, Robert Ernaut, Reno; brother, Gabriel Oyharcabal, Cottonwood, Calif.; sister, Therese Smith, Reno, Nev.; two grandchildren, Stephen Ernaut and Peter (Wendy) Ernaut; four great-grandchildren, Bobby, Henry, Pete Jr. and Isabella Ernaut; and several nieces and nephews.

    Memorial services will be held on Friday, March 14, 2003, at 1 p.m. at Our Lady of the Snows Catholic Church, 1138 Wright Street, Reno. Arrangements are under the direction of Walton Funeral Home.

    The family would like to express its sincere thanks to Father John O'Brien and all the staff at Washoe Medical Center and Park Place for their loving care.
