    • Anna "Ann" Corak Urresti, 92, of Boise, passed away on Monday, December 16, 2013 at St. Luke's Hospital surrounded by her family. Ann was born on December 11, 1921 in Boise, Idaho to Croatian emigrants Mile and Mary Corak. They were very proud to be citizens of their adopted country, the United States of America, the land of freedom and opportunity.

      She attended St. Teresa's Academy from the first grade through high school and graduated in 1940. She also attended Boise Junior College and graduated in 1942.
      After graduation she was employed by the Gowen Field Post Engineers during World War II for almost five years. Then she was employed by the Social Security Administration until her marriage. She married Frank J. Urresti on April 24, 1948 and became a homemaker. She was active at St. Mary's School PTA and Bishop Kelly High School events.

      Survivors include her sons, John J. Urresti, and Daniel M. Urresti; daughters, Kathleen A. Urresti Burney, Jane M. Baumann and husband Dave, Joan P. Urresti (Dyke Nally); grandchildren, Frankie Urresti, Molly Rogers (Kelly), Johnny Urresti; Justin Urresti (Kelly); Scott Burney, Tim Burney (Jeni); Matthew Baumann; great grandchildren, Bailey and Piper Rogers; and Addison and Paige Burney; daughters-in-law, Bonnie Urresti and Coleen Urresti; several cousins in Croatia; and nieces, Delphina Arnold and Diana Sabala; nephew, Richard Urresti; and several great-nephews and great-nieces.

      She was preceded in death by her beloved husband Frank, and her beloved grandson Daniel (Danny) James Urresti; her parents, and her brother John Corak, who died in a Japanese Prisoner of War Camp in Osaka Japan October 1944.

      A visitation will be held from 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm on Thursday, December 19, 2013 at Cloverdale Funeral Home, 1200 N. Cloverdale Road in Boise.

      A Rosary and vigil service will be held at 7:00 pm on Thursday, December 19, 2013 also at Cloverdale Funeral Home.

      A Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10:00 am on Friday, December 20, 2013 at St. John's Cathedral, 775 N. 8th St. in Boise, with Reverend Jerome Montez as celebrant.
      Burial will follow at Morris Hill Cemetery in Boise.

      The family personally thanks the following caregivers: Dr. Clifford Tenley, Dr. Todd Rustad, Dr. George Lewis, and Dr. Ronald Dorn.

      The family will also like to thank the staff at St. Luke's Hospital which includes the doctors, nurses and chaplains who supported our mom and family during mom's final hours.
