      Emile Jean Goyhenetche, 38, of Sheridan died Oct. 16, 2003, as a result of a vehicle accident in Sheridan.
      Born in Hasparren, France, he was a Yuba-Sutter resident for three years. He was a self-employed landscape contractor for 20 years.
      He was a member of the Franco American Independent Order of Odd Fellows of San Francisco, the Basque Cultural Center of South San Francisco, the Santa Rosa Basque Club of Paradise Valley, Nev., the Ligue Henry IV, and Les Faneurs of San Francisco,. He was a member of St. Joseph's Catholic Church in Marysville.
      Survivors include his wife, Andrea M. Goyhenetche of Sheridan; a son, Eric Goyhenetche of Sheridan; a daughter, Maialen Goyhenetche of Sheridan; his parents, Emile and Jeanne Goyhenetche of Loma Rica; two brothers, Bernard Goyhenetche of Yuba City and Noel Goyhenetche of Rocklin; and a sister, Allyn Turpstra of Rocklin.
      Contributions may be made to Emile Jean Goyhenetche Memorial Fund c/o Feather River State Bank, 114 D St., Wheatland, CA 95692.
      Services: A rosary will be recited at 10:30 a.m., followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 11 a.m. Tuesday at St. Joseph's Catholic Church in Marysville. The Rev. Marcel Tillous will officiate. A graveside service will be held at noon Wednesday at Paradise Valley Cemetery, Nevada. Arrangements are under the direction of Lipp and Sullivan Chapel.
