The summer after he turned 90, he broke his hip but in a matter of months, he was often seen riding around the ranch on his 4-wheeler with his dog Rojo on the passenger seat.Visitors were always welcome at their home. He dearly loved to chat and would often engage others in lengthy conversations about the days of yore, as well as current happenings, politics and entertaining anecdotes. Segundo and Edna lived at the Bridgeport ranch until 2011 when they moved to Pioneer Place in Vale.
