Francisco "Frank" Bengoa Sr was born in Yscatein, Viscaya, Spain. Father of Cleto, (aged 18 at the time of his father's death), Frank Jr.(aged 15 at the time of his father's death), Margaret (aged 13 at the time of her father's death) and Christopher (aged 10 at the time of his father's death). Brother of the late Domingo Bengoa and Mrs. Jesus Araguena. He owned and operated the Jackson Creek Ranch.

Jose married Maria Margarita Achabal Cobeaga on 20 Apr 1910 in Winnemucca, Nevada, USA. Maria (daughter of José Manuel Achabal Uriarte and Maria Jesusa Cobeaga Espizua) was born on 18 Jan 1886 in Ispaster, Bizkaia; died on 05 Sep 1964 in Kings River Ranch. [Group Sheet] [Family Chart]
