Ontario Basque Center
In 2005 Ontario Basque Club entered into discussions with the City of Ontario about the possibility of finding a permanent headquarters in the historic train depot. The club entered into an agreement to restore the areas in need of attention and relocate the office of Union Pacific, as well as take over the administration and rental of the public portions of the property for community use. A lease was signed, and in 2007 the Basque Club officially inaugurated Ontario Basque Center in the north end of the Ontario Train Depot.
Having a permanent headquarters for meetings, classes, and events has enabled the club to expand its offerings and range of activities.
