Our cooking classes began as a way to teach members how to prepare Basque dishes for funeral dinners and other events. They have developed into educational and social events in which we have explored additional Basque recipes. Our talented members volunteer to teach a recipe or technique and the lesson is followed by dinner. These lessons are free to members but open to the public for a small fee. There is no regular schedule, so stay tuned to our "egutegia."
Some recent recipes include cod and red peppers, cod-stuffed piquillo peppers, kroketak and patata tortilla.
